Functionality Focus has recently relocated to a new location in Dunsborough, WA. in response to the growing popularity in the strength and conditioning style of training.

Personal Training is at the forefront of the Health and Fitness Market when it comes to reaching goals and achieving results. The modern fitness market is full of personal trainers who may or may not be qualified. Furthermore, most have little knowledge of or exposure to ‘practical strength and fitness training’.

Functionality Focus addresses these issues by introducing people to strength and conditioning programming based on functional movements by qualified trainers.

Functional movements are movements based on Real Life Situational Bio-Mechanics.They usually involve muiti-joint movement which place a high demand on the body’s core musculature.
This style of training gives the greatest results in preparing people for the journey that is Life.

The training discipline delivered at Functionality Focus is encouraged at all levels and adapts to your level of fitness and desired goals. It can be for people seeking weight loss or toning, for increasing one’s level of fitness or for elite and professional athletes who seek to elevate their performance.

The training methodology works on a 3 tier system.

Mechanics
Consistency
Intensity

Workloads are started light to best master movements. Then only when movements mechanics are performed to an efficient level that the intensity and weight are increased.

Movements may include different exercises such as; Dead lifts, Squatting, Clean and Jerks, Sledge Hammer Hits, Tire Flips, Sled drags, Rowing, Kettle Bell Work and Pull-ups. This philosophy is at the core of Functionality Focus programming and is proved to give fast and significant results.
